MCCOLLINS, Bernice. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 30, 1937). Shortly after leaving school, McCollins joined her father in the McCollins Transfer and Coal Company. She rose to become an executive in the company and only stepped down when faced with failing health.
