BRUNSWICK HOTEL. Located at the corner of 32nd and Jackson STREETS, the Brunswick Hotel was used by many railroad personnel.

Its predecessor, the Great Western Hotel dated from the 1890s. It also was the site of a tavern and restaurant on the first floor. After the growth of the BRUNSWICK-BALKE-COLLENDER plant across the street, the hotel changed its name to the Brunswick.
