DUBUQUE BASEBALL AND AMUSEMENT COMPANY. The corporation began business on January 20, 1915 and was chartered to continue business for twenty years. Planned to carry out business in Dubuque, Iowa its object was to maintain a baseball team for the City of Dubuque and the promotion of amusement projects for amusement and profit. The capital stock was aiuthorized at $10,000. The initial board of directors included S. A. Van Saun; S. F. Weiser; Joseph PALEN, president; W. C. Mullen, secretary; and William M. KRETSCHMER. (1)

The team moved to Freeport in 1915, did not play in 1916, and relocated to Charles City, Iowa in 1917. (2)
