NEUWOEHNER, Robert A. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 22, 1942-- Dubuque, IA, June 14, 2026) The son of NEUWOEHNER, Robert F. Robert F. NEUWOEHNER and Marion (Kendrick) Neuwoehner. Robert graduated from LORAS COLLEGE and joined the U.S. Navy in 1965. He married Alana Becker of Independence, IA in 1967. They then moved to Rhode Island, where Bob was stationed at Quonset Point Naval Base as an anti-submarine pilot on the carrier USS Wasp. He was honorably discharged as a lieutenant.

In 1969, he and Alana returned to Dubuque. Bob became a realtor, and was a co-founder of AMERICAN REALTY, Dubuque’s longest continually operating real estate company. He retired after 55 years. A keen outdoorsman, he was a founding member of the local Pheasants Forever chapter.

Bob and Alana were avid ballroom dancers. They taught ballroom dance throughout the tri-state area, as well as on cruise ships traveling as far away as Australia, South America, and the Caribbean. Through dance, they met many, many people, and developed long-lasting, wonderful friendships with so many of them.

Bob was a much-loved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was kind, hardworking, and always willing to help a friend.
