STANDARD PEARL BUTTON COMPANY. In March 1889, the Standard Pearl Button Company moved its machinery to Dubuque from Charles City. Its major competitor was HARVEY CHALMERS AND SONS which called its blank-cutting operation established in 1901 in Dubuque the IROQUOIS PEARL BUTTON COMPANY. (1)
