Fondell, Andrew M. (Rickardsville, IA, Feb. 18, 1905--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 26, 1996). Company founder. An employee of the Dubuque Park Department for twenty-six years, Fondell quit in 1954 to start FONDELL & SONS, INC.. He retired in 1967.
