DUBUQUE DANCE STUDIO & GYMNASTIC CLUB. Established in 1953, Dubuque Dance Studio & Gymnastic Club was located in 1955 through 1959 at 1144 Iowa according to the Dubuque City Directory.
The 1962 through 1968 Dubuque City Directory listed the Dubuque Dance Studio at 1109 Iowa.
The 1977 Dubuque City Directory listed 2612 and 2777 University Avenue.
The 1980 Dubuque City Directory listed 2612 University.
The studio and club provided training in tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, hip hop, and ballroom dancing in addition to gymnastics and tumbling. The firm was associated with USGA, USTA, AAU, and AAHPERD.
Accomplishments of students included "The Untouchables, a competitive dance team which scored the "2010 National First Place Talent on Parade Production 12 & Under.
