JOHN DREHOUSE. The 1868-69 Dubuque City Directory listed a bar on the east side of Iowa between 12th and 13th.
The 1878-79 and 1880 Dubuque City Directory listed 1131 Clay for his business as "derrick builder and hoister."He also supplied wood and coal.
The 1884-1885 and 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 1543 Clay as the address. The lightning rods came in 1886.
