AIRD, Jack. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 16, 1919--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 18, 1998). Founder and retired publisher of The Dubuque Advertiser. Aird and his wife Margaret A. AIRD established the Dubuque Advertiser in 1963. She died in 1995. He served as publisher until his retirement in 1998.
