ELLWANGER, Ralph. (Dubuque, IA, Oct. 23, 1882--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 30, 1933). Businessman. The son of [[ELLWANGER, John Peter|John Peter ELLWANGER]], Ralph and his brother William joined their father in the operation of the John Ellwanger Company. The brothers were also owers of the Fitzgerald Cigar Company, wholesale and retail distributors of tobacco products.  For many years, Ellwanger served as the secretary of the Dubuque Bridge Company.
