PFIFFNER, J. J. (St. Gabe, Switzerland, Sept. 8, 1828--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 9, 1881). Pfiffner emigrated to America in 1843. He came to Illinois and lived there nine years in different places before moving to Galena where he lived for eight years.
