Keeley left Dubuque around 1908 with reports that he had three business opportunities. It was reported in 1908 that he had purchased the Cataract Hotel, in Sioux City, South Dakota and had already taken control. (2) Keeley returned to Chicago where he operated the Southern Hotel. It was reported in 1917 that he had just sold it and had not reported his future intentions. (3)
