TIERNEY, Maurice. (Fort Dodge, IA--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 2, 1981). Tierney, co-owner of Hoffmann-Tierney Mortuary, was president of the Iowa Funeral Directors' Association.
He served as chairman of the Board of Funeral Services Examiners, member of the Dubuque-Jackson County Mental Health Board, president of the 330 Club of the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY, and a member of the development councils of LORAS COLLEGE and CLARKE COLLEGE.
