In March, 1938 Herbert S. Mann, for twenty years the business manager of the ''Racine Journal Times'' of Racine, Wisconsin took over the active management of the Catholic Daily Tribune. He succeeded C. C. Wild as general manager and treasurer of the publication. The announcement stated that this was the first step in the complete reorganization of the Catholic Printing Company, publishers of the Tribune. (3)
