PARKER AMUSEMENT COMPANY. Advertised as a carnival when it visited Dubuque on August 7, 1905, the program featured the 'war balloon' a motion picture created by Thomas Edison. Other films included "Buster Brown and Tige," "Creation," and A Day in the Alps." There was a Ferris wheel and "a three-horse abreast jumping carry-us-all."
