FRED W. PITZEN. In 1908 Fred Pitzen's barber shop featuring six chairs, a lady manicurist, and Turkish baths was located at 129 8th Street. They had been in business since 1898.
The 1913 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory through the 1918 Dubuque and East Dubuque City Directory listed 131 8th.
The 1922 city directory listed 247 W. 8th.
