RANDALL, Leroy D. (Washington Co., NY, Sept. 25, 1818--Dubuque, IA, June 17, 1891). Leroy D. Randall was the owner of [[L. D. RANDALL AND COMPANY]], a wholesale dealer in leather and saddlery hardware. It was the oldest business of its type in Dubuque.

RANDALL, Leroy D. (Washington Co., NY, Sept. 25, 1818--Dubuque, IA, June 17, 1891). Leroy D. Randall was the owner of L. D. RANDALL AND COMPANY, a wholesale dealer in leather and saddlery hardware. He established the business the business on Main Street in 1846 making it was the oldest business of its type in Dubuque. (1)

Beginning in 1861, Randall was a business associate of John THOMPSON.

Randall served as vice-president of the LINWOOD CEMETERY Association. He is a also a director in the Commercial Bank and a director in the Iowa Trust and Savings Bank. He served one term as Alderman and was a prominent member of the Board of Trade. (2)
