The land on which the house was built was platted in September 1853 and purchased by Peter KIENE, Sr. for six hundred dollars. Emil Kiene his son owned the property next followed by Anthony F. HEEB. A bird's eye view of the property in 1872 clearly shows the ITALIANATE ARCHITECTURE style house.
