Following graduation, she worked at ROSHEK'S DEPARTMENT STORE.

She married Sydney HAUDENSHIELD, Jr. and together they operated HAUDENSHIELD FUNERAL HOMES. After her husband's death, she continued operating the funeral home with her son, Richard and her granddaughter, Jillian Krueger serving as funeral directors.

Isabelle was very active within the community. She was a member of the Cuba City (Wisconsin) Apartments, Cuba City Chamber of Commerce, Galena Territory Association, Hospital Auxiliary, Charter Member of Cole Acres, Haudenshield Ambulance Service, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and St. Rose Council of Catholic Women.
