GROTE, Bart B. (Little Rock, IA--Dubuque, IA, June 18, 1984). Grote began working for the DUBUQUE CASKET COMPANY in 1936. From 1955 to 1956 he served as president of the Casket Manufacturers' Association of America.
Grote was president of Elgin Associates and a member of the board of the DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. Grote held membership in the Rotary for forty-eight years and belonged to the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY.
