BROWN, Lawrence Walter. (Dubuque, IA, Aug. 11, 1940--Santa Barbara, CA, Nov. 21, 1996). The son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. BROWN, Lawrence attended public and parochial schools in Dubuque. He attended LORAS COLLEGE and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1965.
Brown worked in Iowa City for Coordinated Estates Services before joining the WILLIAM C. BROWN COMPANY. He worked in several aspects of the business before being named president in 1977. He left the company in 1979 and spent the rest of his business career in real estate and the entertainment business in Florida and California.
