SILLER, Hilda. (Dubuque, IA, August 7, 1861-- ). Hilda's father, Frank Siller, of Milwaukee, Wis., was known as "the German poet." He emigrated to America from St. Petersburg, Russia, as a boy of fifteen. Her mother's maiden name was Sarah Baldwin.

Hilda Siller, a poet, wrote Our Continent. She later wrote for the Springfield " Republican," Boston "Transcript," New York "Post," Chicago "Inter-Ocean," "The South," St. Louis "Globe-Democrat" and for Wisconsin papers generally.
