Sportsman.  The secretary of the Waterloo Bowling Association for twenty-six years, Ganahl served as president of the Iowa State Bowling Association in 1981.  He was inducted into the Iowa State Bowling Hall of Fame in 1989.  Ganahl, a loan officer in Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, Clinton and Burlington, was last employed at United Security Savings in Waterloo.
