FLICK, Albert E. (Dubuque, IA, Dec. 22, 1857--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 10, 1928). Completing his education in the public schools of Dubuque, Flick began work with [[WESTPHAL, HINDS & COMPANY]]. He then moved to Chicago and became a traveling salesman for Keith, Benham, and Dessendorf. In 1883 he went to work for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company, one of the nation's largest hardware firms. He remained with them until 1926 when he returned to Dubuque and became a partner in the [[DUBUQUE PAPER AND SUPPLY COMPANY]].
