KAUFMANN, Joseph K. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 16, 1858--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 1, 1929). Supervisor.  A member of the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors for sixteen months, Kaufmann was appointed to the position and took office on August 22, 1912, after Joseph Connolly died. Kaufmann left office on December 31, 1913.  He ran for County Auditor in 1912, but was defeated in the primary.
