The tournament was won in 1936 by Dubuque resident [[ESTABROOK, Edith|Edith ESTABROOK]] at Oakland Hills, Michigan. Two years later Estabrook placed second to Patty Berg, who went on to become one of golf's legends. The tournament was won in 1936 by Dubuque resident Edith ESTABROOK at Oakland Hills, Michigan. Two years later Estabrook placed second to Patty Berg, who went on to become one of golf's legends. Dubuque golfer Sharon FLADOOS won the tournament in 1960 at the Waukegan (Illinois) Country Club and finished second in 1958 and 1959.
