The tournament was won in 1936 by Dubuque resident [[ESTABROOK, Edith|Edith ESTABROOK]] at Oakland Hills, Michigan. Two years later Estabrook placed second to Patty Berg, who went on to become one of golf's legends. Dubuque golfer [[FLADOOS, Sharon|Sharon FLADOOS]] won the tournament in 1960 at the Waukegan (Illinois) Country Club and finished second in 1958 and 1959.
