Through the efforts of the Association and its supporters, the park at 1801 Washington was dedicated on July 2, 2007. Supplied with playground equipment, benches, and green space at the corner of 18th and Washington [[STREETS]], the park was given its colorful name because Washington Street was once called Orange Street.
