LORENZ, Joseph K. (East Dubuque, IL, Mar. 18, 1890--Vero Beach, FL, Jan. 27, 1954). Lorenz was the owner and operator of the LORENZ LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANERS, a company founded by his mother.
He was prominent in local bowling circles and his company sponsored several teams. He held office in the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY and the American Institute of Laundrying and the National Institute of Dry Cleaning.
