C & M SHOE SALON. Created by the owners to create an "inviting and restful atmosphere" for their customers, the "conventional rows of seats" customarily found in shoe stores were removed. In their place, customers found wicker seats that "harmonize beautifully with the heavily carpeted floors."

Prices were grouped in four classes: $6.00, $8.00, $10.00 and a few at $12.50.
