He established KEY CITY REALTY and served as president of the Dubuque Board of Realtors. He was a founder of the Dubuque Multiple Listing Service, past chairman of the Multiple Listing Committee, and Realtor of the Year in 1976. He was also active on many state and local real estate boards and committees. He retired in 1982.
