HARNEY & O'CONNOR. Harney and O'Connor, both former employees of [[COOPER, Augustin A.|Augustin A. COOPER]] opened their wagon manufacturing plant on the corner of Locust and Second streets in 1876. One of the unique features of the company was that they offered to make rough riding wagons run lighter or they would not charge for their work.


The 1880 Dubuque City Directory indicated that this business was located at 195 Locust.

HARNEY & O'CONNOR. Harney and O'Connor, both former employees of Augustin A. COOPER opened their wagon manufacturing plant on the corner of Locust and Second streets in 1876.
