ROLLING'S BOOTERY. Established in 1916, Rolling's was started by Leo Rolling at a location at Ninth and Main. The business slogan was "Where Shoes Are Really Fitted." (1) Nothing cost higher than $2.95. (2)


The 1934 through 1968 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed the address as 255 W. 8th.
He became more interested in corrective fitting at a time with the Enna Jettick line of women's shoes came out. This offered the first cmplete size range in the country. Rolling continued his interest in corrective fitting and graduated from the Health Spot Institute which manufactured the nation's largest line of corrective shoes in men's, women's, and children's shoes. Rolling also added the Crosby Square shoes for men. (3)


The 1970 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed 1098 Main.
Leo was joined by his son Jack after his graduation from [[LORAS COLLEGE]]. (4)


In 1979 the company was located at 11th and Main. The company was not listed in the 2010 directory.
