CHARLES A. BERGENER. The 1883 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at the head of Julien Avenue.
The 1884-1885 and 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory gave the south side of Julien Avenue 1 west of Alpine as the address.
The 1909 Dubuque City Directory gave the company address as 1248 Iowa.
The 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory and 1913 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory stated that this business was located at 598 Julien Avenue.
The 1916-1917 White's Dubuque County Directory and 1918 Dubuque and East Dubuque City Directory listed 600 Julien as the address.
The 1922 Dubuque Telephone Directory through 1951 Dubuque City Directory listed 1064 University. The 1951 Dubuque City Directory listed Charles A. Bergener Grocery & Meats at 1064 Julien.
