LORENZ LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANERS. Established in 1895 by Joseph K. LORENZ, the business was located on the corner of 19th and Jackson STREETS. The same address was still used in the 1918 Dubuque and East Dubuque City Directory.
The 1923 Dubuque City Directory listed 1890 Jackson.
The 1929 through the 1955 Dubuque City Directory listed the corner of Jackson and 19th.
The 1948 Dubuque Classified Business Directory through 1962 Dubuque City Directory listed 240-48 E. 19th.
