BEILER, Frank A. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 13, 1854--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 27, 1916). After several years of employment with the DUBUQUE CABINET MAKERS' ASSOCIATION, Beiler bought an interest in the Dubuque Furniture and Burial Case Company and eventually became a director of the company.
Beiler helped organize and later served as the first president of the IOWA COFFIN COMPANY. In 1893 he helped establish the DUBUQUE CASKET COMPANY. He served as the company's secretary and treasurer until 1900 when he was elected president.
Beiler held the presidency of the IOWA OIL COMPANY (IOCO) and was a director of the Dubuque Investment Company.
