GARTNER, Edmund. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 20, 1913--Houston, TX, Nov. 11, 1988). Founder. Gartner founded the Gartner Printing Company in 1949. He retired in 1977. He was a past commander of the Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron for twenty years and was a retired major in the Air Force.
