BRIGGS TRANSPORTATION COMPANY. Briggs Transportation became publicly owned in 1972. Based, in 1982, in St. Paul Minnesota, the trucking company opened twenty-three new terminals in the preceding 1.5 years. The company served 3,571 communities from 62 terminals in 18 central, southern, and western stated. The Dubuque operation employed 11 people. (1)
