WATTS, Keith. (Chicago, IL--September 14, 2022). Watts was the primary force behind the organization of Dubuque's first bodybuilding contest. Held on March 20, 1993, the national qualifying event was sanctioned by the Natural Bodybuilding Association and scheduled for the GRAND OPERA HOUSE. Participation was strictly limited to non-steroid users.
Watts had previously won the Southern Minnesota Open. He began lifting weights while going out for football in high school and began competing in the sport in 1988. (1)
