HARRAGAN, James. (Nov. 1840, Ireland--January, 1909). Harragan was a dry goods merchants before becoming one of the organizers of the DUBUQUE NATIONAL BANK. He served as cashier until the time of his death.
He also served twice as the treasurer of Dubuque County and manager of the DUBUQUE CLEARING HOUSE ASSOCIATION.
