WILSON, Eugene J. (Council Bluffs, IA, Sept. 22, 1918--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 1, 2014). The son of Edward John and JoHannah (Ryan) Wilson, Eugene was an automobile deader for fifty-eight years in Rock Island, Illinois, Davenport, and Dubuque. In Dubuque he was the Dodge dealer for forty-nine years retiring in 2005 as president of [[WILSON BROS. DODGE]]. The business was carried on by his grandson, Patrick Turpin, as Turpin Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram. For many years, Gene served on the Dodge Dealer Advertising Council.
