MILLER, Henry B. (Indian Harbor, IN-St. Louis, MO, Sept. 29, 1970). The president of [[DUBUQUE BOAT AND BOILER WORKS]] beginning in 1941, Miller was active in organizations related to the river. He was executive director of Water Resources Association and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.

MILLER, Henry B. (Indian Harbor, IN--St. Louis, MO, Sept. 29, 1970). The president of [[DUBUQUE BOAT AND BOILER WORKS]] beginning in 1941, Miller was active in organizations related to the river. He owned and operated River Excursions Inc. which he sold in 1969 before forming Boats Unlimited to construct and lease passenger boats. He was executive director of Water Resources Association and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.  


An active member of the [[DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY]], Miller played an important role in the restoration of the [[SHOT TOWER]] and was keenly interested in the [[DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]] tourism program.
