SHERRMANN, Henry. (Dubuque, IA, May 1, 1888--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 20, 1978). Herrmann inherited HERRMANN BROTHERS' FURNITURE from his father, Richard HERRMANN. Henry Herrmann later donated his interest in the museum assembled by his father to the DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY.

Proceeds of Land of Promise and Fulfillment, a book of city memories and family biography written by Herrmann in 1972, were donated to the Masonic Temple and the Historical Society.
