JOHN TIBEY. The 1909 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed 11 Rush, a home he constructed, as the address of this stone mason. Tibey was the son of Patrick Tibey who moved to Dubuque from Limeriek, Ireland in 1850 and was also a stone mason. They had a quarry in Dubuque for many years and formed the Tibey Brother's Paving Company.
