MILLER, Henry B. (Indian Harbor, IN-St. Louis, MO, Sept. 29, 1970). President, DUBUQUE BOAT AND BOILER WORKS. In 1941 Miller came to Dubuque to head the boat and boiler works. Active in areas related to the river, Miller was executive director of Water Resources Association and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
An active member of the DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Miller played an important role in the restoration of the SHOT TOWER and was keenly interested in the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE tourism program.
