METROPOLITAN SALE AND LIVERY STABLES. The 1868 Guide, Gazetteer and Directory of the Dubuque & Soux (sic) City Railroad stated that this business was located on 4th between Main and Locust.
The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as 139 4th.
The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed the Metropolitan Livery Establishment at 4th and Locust.
The 1913 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory and the 1915 Dubuque City Directory stated that the Metropolitan Livery was located at 145 4th
