WESTERN HOUSE. The 1858-1859 Dubuque City Directory listed Delhi in West Dubuque. M. Schaffner was the proprietor. There was also a hotel by this name at Clay between 6th and 7th. Michael Plumenauer was the proprietor.
The 1859-1860 Dubuque City Directory listed Clay between 6th and 7th.
The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory gave the address of this business as the west side of Clay between 6th and 7th.
The 1874-1875 through 1909 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 659 Clay.
