GLANZ, Irvin F., Jr. (Farley, IA, Sept. 25, 1933--Largo, FL, Sept. 10, 2012). Glantz was well-known to sports fans in Dubuque in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a KDTH and WDBQ announcer in the early 1960s and KDUB-TV sports director in the 1970s. In his later years, he was the "Voice of the Badgers" (University of Wisconsin).
