ROBB AND DAY. Lumber mill. Located at the foot of Seventh Street, the company in 1876 was renamed Ingram, Kennedy, Day. Obtaining logs from the Black, St. Croix, and Chippewa rivers in Wisconsin, the firm employing one hundred men was able to produce an estimated million feet of finished lumber in addition to shingles, laths, and pickets annually in 1880.
