Longueville, Roland. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 6, 1881--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 3, 1964). Supervisor. Probably holding the record for the shortest term of office in county history, Longueville served as a member of the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors from November 13, 1922, when he was elected to fill the unexpired term of Alvin Stuart, until December 31, 1922 when he left office. A blacksmith, farmer, nurseryman, auctioneer, and insurance agent, Longueville was treasurer of the Oak Grove School District.
