SCHLEGEL, John P. (Rev.) (Dubuque, IA, July 31, 1943-- ). Educator. Schlegel received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Saint Louis University. He received his theology degree from the University of London and his Ph.D from the University of Oxford.
Schlegel served as the 26th President of the University of San Francisco (1991-2000) and the 23rd President of Creighton University beginning in 2000.
